No board sounds!

System details:

I run Linux Kubuntu (it's Ubuntu, but with KDE) 14.10

Plasma version 5.1.1

Kernel 3.16.0-29-generic

Firefox version 35.0.1

What else works:

I can play flash videos / YouTube with sound

I can play music files using audio players

What doesn't work:

chess.com live board sounds

What I've tried:

Clearing browser cache, messing about with audio settings, mixers and so on.

From what you told me, I think you want the sounds when you play? But if you dont want it, you will have to do the same thing anyway.

1. go onto live chess
2. next to the graph, there will be gray text that say "graph options" locate that first
3. click on it:3
4. near the top, click on "style"
5. then you will find the sound option
6. you can then enable or disable it according to what you want

Tried on Chromium, also the same

Same problem i get no audio after upgrade to win 10 but my laptop has no issues after i upgrade i use mozilla firefox 40.0.2 on both why i get no audio on my desktop is driving me craxy  i have lost numurous games on time becasue of no audio tried to contact support  on play chess.com none of their suggestions work, does anyone know what could casue this as far as i can see i have same plugins on laptop as i have on my desktop????????????
