Why does it say "out of time" after someone has resigned while the other person is on vacation?
Which game is this on?
This was on one of my games with eugene11chess.
I still won, but it just says out of time on my side.
If your opponent does 'not' have his settings on 'auto claim win on time' and your time to move runs out, your end shows as 'out of time'.
Your opponent has three choices -
1. He/she can either leave the game as it is in the hope you'd see the game and continue to play
2. Claim win on time
3. Not know they can claim win on time, so resigned.
In this case, your time expired, your opponent resigned after your time expired.
(note here, a player can resign a game while on vacation but can't make moves)
He cant win on time if im on vacation, right?
No, he can't.
