PGN downloading not working

you do not get an error message, it says that you should wait for an email. You wait but receive nothing.

Does PGN downloading work for you? It says that I should wait until my previous PGN are ready but I am waiting 2 days and am still not receiving any email.

Single game's "Get PGN" works. But go to game archive, select multiple games with check buttons, and click "Download PGN." -- in the past it used to send you email with that PGN, but it does not any more.  Wait a couple minutes, select some more games, click again, and you get this (waiting a couple days does not help, either).

How many did you select for a bulk pgn download the first time?

I've created a ticket for this now so the programmers can take a look to see whats going on for you

I had the same problem several days ago & thought the two e-mails of PGN's had gone astray until I thought of checking my Junk-Mail folder & there they were !

Why on earth they went there when every other e-mail from this site goes to my inbox, I don't know. I'm still not clear why an entire page of PGN's should take quite so long to be generated anyway with the speed at which servers work these days.

I am still having this problem. There are no emails in my junk folder. Mass download hasn't worked since 2/16 for me.

About 50 (entire page of archive games). Normally it takes about minute and they are in the email, and another download is posisble. This time it is 2 days, nothing came back, all subsequent download attempts result in the red banner.

For the first time I selected only one. Than I tried a few more times from a game archive, I selected about 20 games and got the message that I should wait.

Me too. Selecting 1 game is enough for the failure message.

I have tried with Windows 7 and Firefox. Also Windows XP and Chrome. Both fail.

Hopefully they will solve that soon. And what is a "ticket"?

Its being fixed at the moment, those who requested pgn should be receiving them shortly

A 'ticket' is IT speak. It legitimises IT support staff to work on a reported system issue(s) and provides an audit trail/way of linking the information and activities provoked by the issue.

I thought for a moment that it got fixed; I managed to download a page worth of games at 9:06 PM today (Feb 22). After PGN arrived in email, I tried to download some more, and despite the green banner about PGN getting prepared, no more emails.

So I tried to download 4 pages of games in rapid succession (about 5 seconds between the download requests). In the past, this would've produced red banners telling me to wait, but not this time -- green banners everywhere, but no PGN in the email.

try using Notepad. I have been able to post from here all week and the PGN reader supports the text just fine.
