And thats for the system for tracking moves,correct?

that's right. If you copy the pgn file to the clipboard or save it to a file you can then paste or load it into many chess programs. This is useful for helping to analyse the game when its finished by playing each move through one at a time, getting the software to analyse the moves, and possibly annotating the game.
