I convinced my brother to sign up after showing it to him earlier and seeing as we'll be on the same network it'll probably show us as being on the same IP (though we both use our ISP's proxy servers from time to time). I was worried that it may not be allowed but I did a search and found a thread stating it's ok, so I assume that's still the case.

What I couldn't find are any of the rules for such situations.

I'm guessing  "don't play against each other on the site" and "don't help each other with analysis until after the game" apply but are there any other rules? for example "don't play in the same tournaments".

You can play against each other, the second statement would be correct, and you can play in the same tournaments.

The only things which are forbidden of course would be intentionally fixing games between the two accounts to manipulate the ratings and log into each other's accounts or share accounts.

We won't play each other anyway since we can play OTB and definitely no account sharing.
