I want to buy the basic premium membership for 4.99 a month to give it a shot. If I like it I will upgrade and pay the year fee up front. If I don't like it I will cancel it.

My question is this: if I cancel the premium membership will it completely delete my account or just return me to a basic membership?

i had the premium membership but downgraded at renewal time.  my membership remained in tact, but i no longer have access to the premium features.

confirmed - nothing deleted or removed.
