Preventing selected players from taking part to Team Matches

    Hi there.

A quick question: as administrator of a team, I would like to understand what are the options to prevent some players from taking part to team matches. This is because a number of members, despite a number of requests not to do so, are regularly taking part to official team matches and constantly losing the games on time, often after just a few moves.

Is a ban going to work, or is this affecting only posting in the forum?

Many thanks in advance for your help with this.

    With kind regards,

    Andrea

There does not appear to be a timeout ratio restriction. If implemented this would only affect the specific match not other activities in the group.

As an alternative, since you know who the players are, they could be removed if they join, or even dropped from the group.

    thanks Tad.

I was looking for an alternative to having to follow every match, and "drop" them before locking the roster... I hoped the "ban" functions was going to do the job, but I think it is only preventing people from posting?

TadDude is currently operating a very hands-on policy for dropping people from team matches in this group ... close-match - (in accordance with the stated mission of that group).
