Hi,

Today was the first time I used the "keep me logged in" option. Afterwards, I logged out and I can't log in without that option checked. If I don't check the option, it keeps returning to the login page saying "you must login to do that". Also, I can't play live chess. It simply says "Firefox is detecting that this page is being redirected in a way that will never complete" or "This webpage has a series of looped redirects" (Chrome, not direct quote).Clearing cookies does not help.

I've tried this on both Chrome and Firefox.

I don't know if I've ever used the "keep me logged in" option, but I had to check that option to get logged in just now.

I also could not log in.  Had to select the keep me logged in button in order for the login to take.

The same for me as well and I haven't even tried live chess.  I don't want to click the keep logged in button.  Is this bug going to be corrected?

I have had identical difficulties to those with which the OP is confronted. It appears that changing browsers does not help.

 Same thing happened to me; I was finally able to log in after about an hour of trying without checking the "keep me logged in" button.

What error messages are you seeing ?

For the login problem, there was no message at all... it just kept going back to the login page

For live chess, I got this:

The page isn't redirecting properly

         
     

     
       
       

         

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

I'm also having trouble logging on through MS Explorer.  Doesn't work even after deleting my cache.

same here..but i finally got in

I would try to log in on the main page, and kept getting redirected to the log in page with the following message:  "You must be logged in to do that," or something like that.

Same as gramos9956 reported above.

i second this kingwangthegreat, i could not log on...i went to this forum and saw people saying to check the keep me signed in box and it worked...i never used this feature before, why must we all all of a sudden use this feature????

For chrome the error message  on live chess is:

This webpage has a redirect loop.

I've been reading a chess book while waiting for live chess to get fixed but it doesn't look like I'll be getting on today.  I'm hoping they get it fixed by tomorrow. 

OK, I cleared all the cookies in Google chrome, clicked on Live Chess and was taken back to the login page... checked the "keep me logged in" button, and got into Live Chess.  But if I'm already logged in, I get the message above...

We're looking into it and hope to have it fixed soon
