I am in a group that is not listed among "my groups and teams". How can I get to a page that will let me quit this group?
Weird bug. I'd try "Home/Groups&Teams" and then search for that group in the list manually ("all groups/teams" on the upper right of the page). Go to their homepage and press the "quit group" button. If there is no such button (because of the bug), I'd ask an admin of the group to ban me.
All Groups and teams dont show on your home page eddie, just above the list on your page is Groups and Teams(32) click on that and you will get a list of all your teams, otherwise the Groups and Teams listing under the HOME drop down menu will list just the teams you belong to.
Ah, if it's this ... only 10 groups show on the home page even though there's space for some more - I mentioned this once in the desing feedback group, but it went unnoticed.
I have clicked Groups and Teams (32) and the group I want to quit isn't shown so I can't get the "quit group" icon.
eddiewsox, click next page down the bottom to scroll through the pages, your group should be there, click into it, and then quite group is in the toolbar down the right side of the page along with "members" etc
Thank you Hydra, I know the group should be there, but it isn't. However, I keep getting alerts from this group and I would like to quit.
Whats the name of the group?
Five for Fighting
Hmm, yes the group is no there,
can you try log off and clear all cookies and cache from your browser, then log back in please, thank you
I use a public library computer, I am only semi-computer literate. I don't even know what you're talking about.
Good on ya eddie lol, join the club.
At the upper right of your screen, you'll find the "search" box (NOT "search forums", but above that). Type in "five for fighting". The group with icon then will be shown on the lower right corner of the results. Click to go to their homepage. There you should find the button "quit group" within the grey box on the upper right.
I've gone to the home page and there is no quit group icon, I wish someone from staff would respond to this.
I don't see you in the member list for that group. What indicates on your end that you are in that group?
Let me know.
I get alerts for all their team matches. They are a very active group. I am in many (too many) groups. Many of their matches are agianst groups I am also in, so I can't play for either side. I want to cut down on my groups and this is the first one on my list, thank you for respnding. If you could "get me out of this group" or stop the alerts, I would appreciate it. I have nothing against this group and it is well run, I just choose to play for other groups instead.
I failed to mention that I did join this group in the first place, I have no idea why it doesn't show up in my groups list.
