Why do I keep getting alerts for groups I have quit? I get alerts for group activity and chess.com messages of new group team matches and vote chess games even after I have quit a group. I go to the group home page and click "Quit group" then I get message asking If I am sure I want to quit the group. I click yes, then I get a message saying that I have quit the group, but I still get the alerts and messges for that group.   

Probably because groups alerts are now set individually within each group (instead of globally on the member's profile).

Select one of your groups, then under the Group Menu, click on Alerts.

If you were to switch off all alerts BEFORE quitting a group (or rejoin, switch off alerts, then requit), it might resolve your problem.
