I have a question about how the random color is generated?  I was thinking it would be cool if it calculated how many times each person had been white.  So if I have been white 75% of my games, and my opponent had been white only 25% of his games, he gets to be white.  This way everyone is white and black roughly 50% of the time overall.  Right now, i have been white 12 times in 15 random games.  Maybe my idea is bad, just throwing that out there Cool.

Also, another cool feature would be a "rematch" button, where you rematch with reversed colors.

Have a great day!

It might be a dumb idea, but thanks for taking the time to read it and respond so quickly! Smile

I have only just started here and have only been black on my first game the next four games in a row have all been white while I prefer playing as black I choose random because I need the experience from both colours. Two or three times might be understandable but more than that seems a bit much.Surprised

This one is completely justified (for a change!) by the 'historical interest' defence.

A random table could be used to generate the random color for any player and for all players, perhaps this is done, then generate a second random table if you have played say 60% + of challenged random games with the same color.
