Is there a reason that a player's rating isn't expressed on his user profile page where the address is like this: http://www.chess.com/members/view/user, but is on his chess profile page where the address is like this: http://www.chess.com/echess/profile/user?

It seems like it ought to be visible on both profile pages. Of course, this also raises the question as to why there are two profile pages?

good questions :) at some point we'll do a better job integrating everything. but there are LOTS of ratings - turn-based, blitz, long, bullet, tactics, chessmentor.... there is just a lot of stuff :)

Thanks for the response, Erik. I continue to be impressed with how omnipresent you seem to be around the site.

I'm comfortable with knowing you are aware of questions along these lines and that other, perhaps cleaner, integration techniques are being considered.

yep. it's a hot topic at chess.com :) we have just built so much stuff so quickly... it's time to go back and integrate more (like we did with our navigation bar).
