HAVE JUST BECOME AWARE OF  GREAT VARIATION  IN SCORE VALUES IN GAMES OFFERED- RECENT EXAMPLE AWARDS 34 PENALTIES  FOR LOSS; ON SAME PAGE ANOTHER OFFERS 24. WINS AND DRAWS ARE SIMILARLY ERRATIC AND OUT OF ALL PROPORTION- WHAT GOES ON PLEASE ? I AM REFERRING TO OPEN SEEK VIEW INFORMATION

I think that the Glicko RD is one of the variables used the calculation for rating adjustments, in conjunction with their rating versus your rating etc.

Not exactly sure how it works, but it would explain some of the variances you are seeing.

Well thanks  Gliko does require special considerations in the case of new unseeded members  for example; but the figs. i see are there already in the view offer facility before the opponent is known.Will bring up actual example next opportunity

Alternatively- Am I to understand that the computer adjusts the offered scores  each time I click on "view", with a different offer for a different "clicker" ?Changing the view offer in a click as it were? That would really be something !!
