Ever since chess.com upgraded, I've noticed that sometimes after the page finished loading, the page will zoom out a little then get blurry.

This affects my playing ability because it is hard to distinguish a knight from a bishop. I'll note that this only happens on chess.com.

how do I fix this?

Just send a ticket, and hopefully you will receive a reply soon.

Other then that, just hope for a staff to see this post.

Maybe its your eyes :P., the background of this site is different then any other site and maybe this hurts your eyes somehow.. :P

Turn it off. Turn it on. Call back if that doesn't work. Tongue out

This problem only happens sometimes? on specific pages? I would recommend that you either try resetting your web browser settings to the original default or try uninstalling and then downloading and reinstalling your web browser as this may resolve these problems you have been experiencing.

What browser are you using?

When Firefox is trying to run an unresponsive script or animation I notice the entire screen will go dim for a while and then you'll get a dialog box asking if you want to terminate the process.

In the meantime did you know that you can change the size of the chess diagram? I set mine bigger, especially helpful in live chess so I can play without my bi-focals.

When I use my bi-focals on the internet I get whiplash bouncing my head as I scroll up and down pages because the focus changes.

You might want to view > zoom > reset (ff), or view > zoom > 100% (ie)

I use firefox and it does weird things whenever I need to see a game diagram (like in online chess, etc)

no I am not an abuser of my pc monitor and no my glasses are just fine.

although I've found that clicking analysis board brings it back to life... but still >.<
