seriously though, it's an intermittent problem affecting a small % of users. we have already fixed it, it just takes the internet some time to propagate all of the fixes.

    very sorry!

one thing you can try is doing a full reboot/re-cycle on your router.

Unfortunately, with the way that DNS works, there's not much more than can be done. You will, sadly, just have to wait. Once it's fixed on chess.com's end (which Erik said that it is), it takes some time for the fixes to make their way through the internet, and there really isn't any way to speed this process up.

    I'm having the same problem.

Pardon me for asking, but Zerolag.com appears to be a hosting site...Other than signing me up for a new ISP service, how are they going to assist with this issue?   I am not having this error on any other site using my current ISP.   Just chess.com Undecided

I'm certainly willing to wait a few days for DNS changes to propogate, but don't think zerolag.com is an option for me.

In reference to which post?  There was nothing rude about my post.  I even said Pardon before the question?  lol   Jeez!

Back to the issue...... I seem to have found a solution on my own.  My ISP service once listed a preferred DNS I could enter manually on my network settings.  That had been cleared at one point for some reason or other.  I manually entered that IP back into my TCP/IP "preferred DNS settings and so far I've not seen any more annoying DNS errors.

Maybe others can contact their own ISP's and ask if they recommend a preferred DNS that can be entered manually?

I have got this problem again today.

This is the 5th day running I have had this.

I have rebooted the router 4 times.

This may be of absolutely no concern to you but it is seriously screwing up my pre season preparation.

When will this be sorted, no other site gives me anything like this much grief, I like Chess.COm but there are limits.
