Skype

Does anyone know how to add a Skype button by my user name? I saw a player months ago that had one, but she said she didn't know how it got there.

Also, on my home page, there's a link that says "click here to set your status". What's this for: Alive? Dead? Single? Married? Patzer? Status could have many different meanings. I don't get it.

Click here to set your status

You could add anything, like

"Currently improving!"

"I will not be here for 2 days."

etc. Your choice :)

My guess is that something like this would work ...

1. Launch Skype.
2. Click on Get A Skype Button.
3. Supply your Skype Name.
4. Click on Select a button from below or create a custom button.
5. Copy and paste this [HTML] code somewhere into your profile ...

- into your Status (although the code is probably too long)

- into your Notes

- or just into the body of the page.

Something I noticed:

If you have skype open and you use firefox browser then those who are on your skype contact list appear to have a little skype icon next to their name

After launching Skype, click on Tools -> Share Skype with a friend -> Buttons.

Or, go to the website (http://www.skype.com), click on Tell a friend (at the top), then click on Buttons (under Related on the right); this route navigates to the Get A Skype Button.
