I've noticed chess.com has become incredibly slow at times in the last week or so, and especially after the new Chat Bar has arrived.

Now, pages will quite often half-load, and then hang for a minute or more. This includes chessboards not loading all the pieces.

Apparently some others have noticed this as well...

it isn't related to the chat bar - it's related to some oddly intermittent database problems that have been popping up on us lately. we're working on it, but it's painful :(
