I have two issues that I've mentioned on several occasions.  I'm curious to learn if there are any plans to address them.

1. the width of the editing pane in blogs.  What there now is much, much too narrow. It need to be either adjustable or fixed at about 600px.

2. Italicized words, for no good reason that I can fathom, default to a per-set color in spite of the color assigned the text. So, any italicized word ends up a different color from the text.  There are work-arounds, but they're very time-consuming and inconsistant. The fact that a word is italicized should not make any difference to the color.
