Once a member has received a refund they are no longer eligible for the 30-Day Money Back Guarantee. Thank you both for your answers, I was confused if the form was the correct place since it starting asking if the question had been posted before.

I tried both, cancelling works in that your premium ends but refunds are a different matter. The form, when submitted claims you will hear back in 24 hours. instead 24 hours later they decided to hurry up and charge my account $99 knowing I requested to cancel. Google can't help so be careful there. chess.com knows what they are doing. I was lucky and funded Google through PayPal and they are going to dispute it for me. technically since I cancelled before any charge paypal said the charge was unauthorized. I am searching out all chess forums to keep people up to date on chess.coms refund policy in action.

Well, since Cuda418 decided to post here and telling me all about how wrong they are, I'll you guys know how it went down with me.

Sure, after I sent the mail it didnt take 24 hours. But who knows how much staff they have and how hard they try? Infact I did get an answer on the 2nd day telling me they had forwarded the issue at hand to a Billing Specialist

(I qoute "K replied: Hi! I am forwarding your info to our billing specialist, who will be able to give you further details about your refund. Have a lovely day.")

 And that was in a day (in my timezone, not in theirs) met by "M replied:Hello ***. I understand that you did not want the auto-renewal of your premium membership subscription on Chess.com for another term. I have now refunded the most recent charge to your account and I have immediately returned your Chess.com account back to a basic membership as you have requested for. Please note that the refund can take up to 5-7 business days to be reflected on your end. Thank you for subscribing with Chess.com in the past. Have a nice day."

And thus it was a nice and lovely day as the staff of chess.com had refunded me, without any trouble or problems along my way. (well besides the fact i had to post this post to figure out where to actually send in the correct ticket)
