Rael:  that sometimes when you’re typing in the chat box
Rael:  Hey, do any of you guys notice
Rael:  like, what you typed first sometimes occurs
Rael:  it swaps your sentences around sometimes?
Rael:  after what you’d typed earlier

Never ever happened to me maybe you have a virus.

The 2 top stoppers I know and have are:

1. Superantispyware free

2. Malwarebytes

They are available free at Cnet.com and have used them for quite some time and are reliable.

First always run no 1 first twice and then run no2 also twice.

Any infection should be treated twice even with a paid software.

I also use AVG, a free one again and Zone lab which has a firewall.

Oh I'm sure it's not a virus - not only does it happen often to me but I've seen it happen to people.

I think there's a delay between hitting enter and it posting the texts. If I'm veeery slow about typing (ie. wait 3 or 4 seconds) then it likely won't do that - but I'm a very fast typer. I think the chat box "holds" the sentence for a second, and if you type really fast the order of how it inserts can become confused.

I'm 100% it's not a virus. I'm sure we'll hear from a few more people that will indicate that this is a widespread and normal issue.

Yeah, i have that same problem as well. And, you're right, it happens the most when I type fast, and since I'm a fast typer... dang it...

Clever post...yeah its happened to me before likely from a lag spike at the time you write your first post and the second post being submitted essentially simultaneously.

I think it's because you don't know how to think for yourself!

Hahaha, totally Onosson. That was a fun thread. The boys came out, kicked ass and the OP deleted it. All in a day's work...

Just to keep the thread on topic - this sentences thing seems like it would've been one of the oldest bugs, and potentially easy to clear up, no?

Oh! Estevon. This isn't chat!

This is a forum in which posts are made.

We mean the chat when you're in a chess game!

I'd be thankful if you tried the experiment out there.

/I really was scratching my head when I saw those posts you made, hahah

maybe the bug is in your thinking process
is it possible that after so many chess games your thinking has gone out of sequence ?
another line of investigation, have you been drinking ?
are you thoughter than you drunk you were ?

I'm not sure I'd download something called "Superantispyware Free".

I've had a couple of posts decide to spaz on me. It looked like Javascript problems, like some of my keystrokes were triggering events they shouldn't have been triggering.

I'm on the alert for occurrences of this after the following exchange in the game chat box:

opponent: you're a complete idiot

self: it takes one to know one

opponent: Another player just said to me ...

self: ...

Tricky to recover from this position.

I usually flag occurrences as 'YODESE' or '... said Yoda' to make it clear I've spotted the re-sequencing.
