Sync Macbook with my iPhone

The Chess.com app I play on when using my iPhone does not acknowledge me as a premium member. I joined/paid from my macbook. Shouldn't my premium membership transfer to any device when I log in to play Chess.com?

To play chess, you don’t have to sync your iPhone. Either download the app or connect via browser.
