Terrible terrible lag...

    Not sure what has happened to chess.com this last few days but the lag I'm experiencing is totally ridiculous.

    I'm using a direct internet connection, not wireless.

    I notice a new message has appeared asking to check your 'Hardware Acceleration' settings - I tried this fix with no luck whatsoever. Coincidence this message has recently appeared?

    This site is totally unplayable for me at the minute considering I play mainly 1 min bullet games.

    Will definitely be cancelling my Premium membership if this continues...

    Anyone else had an issues recently?  So frustrating.

    Yes, constant connection problems. My time runs out because i cannot see the opponents move and I cant move my pieces. I have lost 10 games in a row because this. Not on premium like you, so wont be upgrading. Ps I have checked all the technical tips and have tried playing in three countries in Europe same problem. I dont think their main servers can cope as gets worse when US goes online.

    My opponents time is ticking and I think it's his move, then I get the dreaded 'Connection interrupted' screen.It dissapears after a few seconds and all my time has gone and my opponent is back to normal.

    So annoying.

    Sure. 10 games in a row because of this. Yea. And I bet it's Chess.com's fault, right?

    Response to khallyx post. No need to be sarcastic. Yes, 10 games in a row. I never pointed any finger as to whose fault it is so why do you? So, unless you have anything helpful to post why not keep the lowest form of wit to yourself. And frankly, you only need to see the record of my last few games to see they all ended after only a few number of moves without any material advantage from either player. Why not try being polite and offer an apology, not everyone is a liar.

    But I like the lowest form of wit. Especially after you blame your losses on the last 10 games to connection issues. Especially after I checked your games, and that is in fact a lie. And now you're condescending, so yes, wit is well deserved.

    On topic though, have you considered it's your fault, maybe? Except for a couple of server crashes and maybe another couple of generalized lag spikes, which lasted no more than 30 seconds, I've had a good experience so far.

    Khallyx. How dare you call me a liar. I am now reporting you. The site administrators agree there is a problem with my connection just in the same way others on this comment post have the same issues and that has cost me my last few games. Never mind the wit your just the lowest form full stop.

    Yet another disconnect with opponents move not showing and not allowing me to move. Clock jumps around until eventually my time runs out and lose the game again. This time about two thirds way through game in another strong position. As mentioned in my first post i have exhausted the technical tips
