If your opponent times out before 3 moves were made, is there any way to get points, because it seems to me that I should get some compensation if that happens against me.

So even if I am White and the game goes 1.e4 e5, 2.Qg4 Qg5?? 3.Qxg5 and my opponent doesn't want his rating effected he can time out?
