I am hosting a tournament where everybody finished their games and a winner is already determined but there is one player who always is never finished
This player is currently playing 114 games and moves one move per 3 days on his tournament games
The tournament is 7 players and 2 games vs everybody and this guy has only finished 3 of 12 games and this tournament has been going on a while... (it started on March 10)
Everyone else finished all their other games and want to play in a new tourny but cant due to this one (i know they can upgrade but still...)
I asked all the players and they all voted to have him taken off only to realize that you cant
Can anyone tell me how to get him off or cancel the tournament while still haveing 1st place retain his prize and points????
Rules is rules! So long as he doesn't break a rule, all you can do is maon about him being a bad sport. Otherwise we'd be able to summarily dismiss any opponent we didn't like. I do sympathise with your predicament though. Have you tried messaging him? Nicely. And politely requesting he get a move on?
Good luck!
Yes, ive posted messages on the board but its been a month and a half and he barely finished a quarter of his games
There should be a limit on how much games one is allowed to play cuz he is a 114,
thats a number way too big...
thanks though saikotiq
Why do some people persist in thinking that they have the right to dictate the pace at which their opponents move after they have already agreed in advance a time control per move.
Erik's new marketing ploy?
I hate reading, ive been playing guitar for 3 years now, i dont own a bike, i know french english and spanish
