I'm sure I used to be able to edit or delete notes that I'd posted on other member's home pages but suddenly I can't !

Has anyone else noticed this ?

Edit:  This has now resolved itself !

I've never seen a setting for that in my profile settings - can't really see why there would be one.  When I look at notes I've posted on other people's pages, there's only a 'delete' button which I can't use - it's the one for the owner's use !

THETUBESTER, would you mind posting a note on my home page & then delete it, just to make sure you still can ?

Edit: I've just checked again & there's no setting for Notes other than whether you receive an alert or not.

BTW - I can still Reply/Delete or Block any notes posted on my own page, just not anyone else's.

Thanks, I've just spotted the 'Note has been deleted' message & got that note o/k    Smile

    It's working again !

At least I can now delete old notes on other home pages.  But am I going crazy or was it possible before to edit notes that we'd posted ?

A weird thing THETUBESTER, you don't have a Notes posting pane on your home page - I didn't know it was possible to disable it !

stephen_33, if you hover your cursor over 'Home' then select 'Account' you can change your Privacy settings so that only Friends or All Members can see your notes. :)

Yes, thanks Calamondin I can see that now !

Thankfully I havn't had any problems (yet?) that warrant doing that.

Sorry to hear you've had that problem, THETUBESTER - it's surprisingly common on this site (probably all sites!).  I think the anonymity of the web is largely to blame for it - I bet they'd never say such things to your face.
