Unable to Watch Chess.com TV in China

I have enjoyed watching Chess.com TV for over a year.  However, I am unable to watch it now.  I currently live in China, and, apparently, "livecast" has been blocked here. Since Chess.com TV uses "livecast" the video player either does not show up on the page, or I get an error.  I have tried going to the livecast website directly and it is blocked as well.  Just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue? I guess I could always use a proxy server, but that's not always so easy--or cheap!

i get the feeling you're having trouble watching chess.com TV in china.

China has some... well... internet censorship. Maybe the source of your problem?

Yeah that would be the problem.  Of course they don't care about Chess.com TV in particular, but they have apparently blocked anything on Livecast--which includes Chess.com TV.

It is likely that if you go onto www.livestream.com and aren't able to view that, your country has blocked livestream. Iran has blocked it as well so members from there aren't able to view it either.

Sorry Frown

That seems to be what happened.  I will just have to find a good proxy server.  Thanks for the reply!
