unlimited time?????

    Hi!

    How it is possible, that in the game where both players have 10 min.,for  one(eee1666) player time vont stop at 0.00 but stops at 0.08 and continuisly he get extra tim, until second player(gamefreak108) run off time properly???????????  Maybe I do not now everything abouth CHESS.COM, so is here anybody who could answer me,what the funk is going on(with time), because etherwise is realy ussles to play and joy in these game, if I can t win fairless! Thank you

    maybe your opponent moved really fast and you moved really slow. If he used less time than the lag time for each move (possible with premove) it might appear to you that his time is going up even though it is not.

    If he's using less time than the lag time for each move, it would appear to go up from where it counted down to on that move, but would never actually increment to a higher value than the time that was left on the previous move.  That said, I suspect you're right Loomis -- the game had a 10 0 time limit so increment time doesn't explain this, it's likely a product of lag correction possibly exascerbated by premoves.

    Lag on one of the player's connections can cause problems like this which make it appear that the other player is gaining more time when this is really not the case.

    Once I played a 2|0 game, and 10 moves in, my opponent had over 2 minutes.

    Are you sure?  If so that would point towards a definite bug in the lag correction.
