I play a game against an unrated player but he played 327 games. Is it a bug or something else?

I've seen a few players with lots of unrated games played,, I sometimes wonder if I would of been better off starting out that way, as hard as I try, I can't stop giving so much importance to my rating. I know when I'm playing an unrated game, I tend to relax and enjoy the game more..

it was a bug. he's 1700 now.
