Vacation abuse

I have an opponent who mysteriously disappeared several weeks ago --- immediately upon getting himself into losing positions in two games. Is there a way to request adjudication of these games? And if not, how long are you going to allow him to evade taking the losses?

They have 1½ month of vacation time left, but may be back sooner.

And there's your answer.  Annoying?  Of course, but that's the way vacation works here.  So enjoy your other 20 games in the meantime.

Here's an article on vacation abuse.  It is possible to report someone, but since he has 20 other games that are also on vacation, chances are staff will do nothing.  He might have some sort of personal crisis going on, who knows?
