why does all the players i'm playing show vacation in the Status field?
Because it shows that you are on vacation. I only checked two games but it probably is the same for all of them.
Check your messages -- there's a good chance you have one from chess.com alerting you to your auto-timeout protection being invoked.
When you have less than 120 minutes in one or more of your games and you are a premium member the site will automatically put you on vacation to prevent you from timing out on your games.
Perhaps you turned on the vacation mode?
Three year vacation is kind of long.
