1. Click " PAUSE MY GAMES! I'm on vacation: please pause all of my games!".

2. Click "Save Preferences".

Are you referring to the fact that you can't vacation when it's your move?

To avoid vacation abuse, this website has a rule that you can't go on vacation if it's your turn in any of your games.  So make all your moves, then go on vacation (I know, you might not have time to think through all of your moves before you go on vacation, but this is just something you have to deal with on this website).
