I have a question. This weekend I'm going to play at my hometown at weekend otb tournament. I won't be able to play my moves here. And I have 1 day per move game going. I don't want to lose the game on time. What should I do?

Yeah, vacation time is used for when you are away from the site for an extended period of time so that you will not lose all your games on time.

To toggle the vacation setting on and off you should go to http://www.chess.com/home/echess_settings.html, and it will be towards the bottom of the page.
