A good program to download for viewing pgn files is "WinBoard". You can go to http://www.tim-mann.org/xboard.html for downloading the program.

Hey Trickster: Here's one you can try:

 http://www.download.com/NetChess/3000-7491_4-10714926.html?tag=lst-0-2

It's from CNET Downloads which is a safe place to get downloads from. I'll go through my chess software library and see if I can find anything else. I've got chess softwar e going back to the 1980s and always have some good chess stuff sitting around. Try the above link and see if it works for your PC. How old is your PC? What OS are you using?

You want a PGN viewer? Easy peasy! Go to chessbase.com and download Chessbase Light. I have CBLight 2009 and it's got a database of tens of thousands of master games. You can also open and view PGNs stored on your hard drive. Try it.
