1 minute games

I play bullet chess. Often opponents simply move their mouse quickly and achieve high ratings by winning on time. Inevitably in 1 minute chess, the chess element is undermined. So, why not add double ratings points for checkmating an opponent in bullet chess?

you can only get so high by playing random moves quickly

The easiest way to beat this is to add bonus time to your seeks.  I like the speed of bullet chess, and I do lose a lot on time, that is part of the challenge.  However, to even it up a bit, I add 1 or 2 second bonus time to the games.  You'd be surprised how many people get upset when the think they're going to win on time, even after being down in material and inferior position, and the clock continues to run!!!  Try it.

Perhaps you should post something intelligent if you want intelligent responses?

Well it seems to miss the point of 1 minute, the time is supposed be a major component there. If that doesn't suit you then play longer times.

no thats not what he is saying, hes saying that checkmate shoul dbe rewarded instead of people just premoving to win on time

Well I suppose the reason many people are playing to win on time is that they are playing 1 0.
