Account reset?

    Hi,

I was wondering if there's any option for account reseting?

Thing is, shortly after my registration I let my friend play on my account, and he lost some games, and now even if I win many games, I get a really tiny increase in rating compared to what I would have gotten if I had a clean account..

    Thanks!

No, there is no "reset my account" option.

This is exactly why you should never let anyone use your account.

Perhaps you can open another account?

Is there at least an option for resetting the statistics?

When I joined chess.com I was completely new in chess, quickly dropped to 700-ish and lost tons of matches. Now I'm more likely 1200-ish, but my statistics are always showing things like "65% losses" and "Av. Oponent: 1005".

A bit disappointing since these statistics are not corresponding to the (current) reality =/

your current level is all thats important. Too many people are focused  on some statistic or rating. What is important is improvement. Is your rating increasing?  If yes then thats all that matters. The rest is just useless stats hat happen to be easy to calculate. I would like to see something more in the line of the USCF and FIDE sites where you get things broken down by over all and last 12 months with ratings and color

So there is no way to reset account info?  I stopped playing chess for a couple of years and want to get back into it with a fresh start, eg. reset everything so I can track my progress better.  Anyway that I can do that? Or am I stuck with my current stats?

Unfortunately there isn't any reset option other than for chess mentor and tactics trainer. We don't reset game stats and can't delete previous games sorry.
