    two questions:

    1) Is it possible to browse my Live Chess games through the opening explorer, so that I can filter their opening?

    2) Is there a way to download *all* Live Chess games? I can see that I can select all per game and download the games of a certain page but is it possible to do this automatically for all pages?

    Thanks in advance,

    1) As far as I know, there is no way. This is since the opening explorer only uses turn-based games.

    2) Yes. Go to your games archive, and sort it by live chess games:

    http://www.chess.com/home/my_archive.html?show=live

Then on the bottom of the page there is a link that says, Download All My Games in One PGN. Click it. They will then generate it and email it to you. After you have this, you can use this with a database program to sort your games based on specific openings.

Many thanks! I did something silly I first used "select all" and then download all as pgn, so it only downloaded the selected games, that is page 1 of my total games. I just did what you suggested (without selecting all first) and it works fine now :)

Shame that opening explorer can't be used with Live Chess games, it would make it easy to track our games online, watch our scores with each line and see most popular opponent moves, without having to download them locally and sort them using database software.

No problem. I know that having live games integrated into the opening explorer has probably been mentioned on every one of those forums where erik takes feedback. I'm sure its on the list, though not sure how heavily prioritized it is. I'm sure we shall see it eventually, but most likely it will only be after the release of Live Chess 2.
