I was playing chessisboring who is 500 points better than me and had him beaten when he disconnected .what happens to the ratings as my rating did not go up

That was probably an unrated game which also explains why didn't play well

so sensitive... maybe he left game to go to store and buy you a pacifier? who knows. If you're gonna give someone else a shout-out in a forum, make it me..... make it me. I could use the attention to distract me from this terrible case of rabid-monkey I've got.

 he was probly a saw loser and disconnected on purpose so his rating did not go down. (((()))

Can that be done? Can someone disconnect and not lose? That would be shite but I'm sure they'd lose points and forfeit the match if it was a timed game...
