I know the live chess tells us to expect disconnects. The only question I have is if there is some sort of "win claim" I can make in a game I was playing. I was diconnected during my move with a forced mate in three. Time was not an issue, I had 10 minutes left on my clock, and even reconnected before the time would have run out, but was forfeited due to "abandonment". I am not saying it was a good game, just a win. Here is the full game in case you were wondering...

it happens. i had at least 4 games that i won already. opponent is checkmated but the time kept running for some reason then i got disconnected and when i got back i lost points instead!!!! well it was a good game anyway. as long as tournament ranking is not mixed up with the live chess ranking, then i am happy. think of the live chess as mirage ranking ... for us. it does not really mean anything until stability in the games is established. right now i am down to something like 1300 but i am ok with it.
