Draw by repitition?

    I suppose you want to know why you did not get a draw by 3 fold repetition. That does not happen automatically. You have to claim it by clicking the draw button.

    In live chess, it happens automatically, at least to me it has happened several times automatically. I know that we have to manually claim in online chess.

    No, if it looks like it happened automatically, then your opponent claimed it.

    missing 11 checkmates in a row must be depressing, especially when the mate eventually went to the opponent, but why drag this up from the deep ?

    Odder yet that his posts are gone. Merely closing an account doesn't do this, as a normal course.

    No. There were 2 sets of repetitions and I had played the move which was the 3rd set and the game instantly ended in a draw. I have at least 3 such instances.
