Hello everyone, I was wondering wether ratings in live chess in general have declined. I have seen lots of players achieving their peak in march 2011. I tought that it is just a coincidence but recently I have seen many players in forums speaking about the general drop in ratings.

Yes, I agree. I was around 1400 at one point in bullet ratings last year. Now I find it difficult to stay around 1300. I don't like to be so close to newbie rating.
