For white I tend to favor the scotch opening for white and l like to play aggressively. But for black, I sometimes get bored of playing defensively such as the pirc, Sicilian, etc. So I'm asking, what for black can I play that is similar the scotch opening that's for white?

You could try the scotch opening.

You could reply 1...e5 in kind and play a mutual king's pawn opening.  The Ruy Lopez and King's Gambit have a variety of lines from which to choose. I've heard the Elephant gambit can be fun (1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 d5 3.exd5) A chess.com greeter used it on me. I won the game, it was fun though.

1...e5 is the only move that lets you occupy almost as much space as White.

The Pirc and Sicilian are defensive?

Many of the great players have all seemed to play 1...e5 at one time or another.

Thanks Davis, I've heard and played the Elephant gambit before. I think that has to be one of the closest opposites to the Scotch In my opinion. But white can just beat you easily if he has seen it before. Lucky only a hand full of people play that, its kind of odd seeing someone play d5 after Nf3 now a days.
