Hi there,
Something would be great : When a game finishes on time loose, what would be nice is if both players agreed to, you had the possibility to continue the game just for fun. How many times have does it happen when the time is over, just in the middle of a great game ?
Thanks

lol, sounds really good to me

That's what happens in reality too. Most of the time.

just compare different types of chess which usually varies on time basis with cricket which also usually varies on time basis i.e. 5-day, 1-day, 20-20....there dominates different rules n facts, different taste, different style, different purpose, different records....different importance...likewise in chess...thats all....thanks

You can change your settings so as not to claim wins on time automatically, and then you can continue if one of you is too late.
Mmmm... Sorry, but I don't get this in the settings menu (free account). Anyway, I mean when the match is lost on time, it's normal it's lost. What I would like is to have, in the window that appears when the match is over, an extra button to click saying "continue game", which would continue the game (yep), having no insidence on the attribution of the points.
... Oh... You mean there are turn-based chess on chess.com ? lol
Sorry, I never use it ! Yes, I was talking about adding this feature in Live chess, thanks tunatin.

That's why playing with incremental clocks is more interesting. Like Fischer proposed. In fact I read somewhere that he has the patent on that idea!
Instead of playing a 10 min game, I prefer to play for instance a 5 minute game with 10 sec bonus per move. Then if one player gets in time trouble the match can still go on if he plays fast. Sometimes interesting situations occur then: the player that has been using more time has a better position but then he has to play quick moves to win back some time on the clock while the other player can relax more and make good moves and turn the tables. Far more interesting than a game with absolute time that suddenly ends. Especially when the player with the best position runs out of time.
Thanks for you answer.
I don't really often play this fisher time increasing chess. I think it's interesting, but i just don't use this feature in Live Chess.
Anyway, in my opinion, it's completely a different approach from the standard blitz. Both require a specific strategy, Ok, maybe not, but a least the playing experience is not the same, you'll agree with that. It's just a matter of personnal taste.
So when the game's over on time, I'd like to have the possibility to "rematch" or "continue game", which I'm sure a lot of players would accept. Yes, I want to belive some players on Live don't come here only for the points.
(PS : cool Midi : from Antwerp, with a diamond account ^^)
