Lag Swings

Anyone else have Lag swings? The servers were running smooth i was 10-0 in bullet games....i went away for about 10 minutes came back played 5 games and lost them all ...was very laggy and slow....why sometimes smooth and othertimes very laggy?

I lost 2 games in a row earlier because of excessive lag from the servers.  Very frustrating!  That's why you won't see me giving any of my hard earned money to chess.com!

nvr had lag issues. this site for being mostly a pay site sure attracts alot of the lesser breeds.

Yes... Your parents bought you a membership for christmas and you feel entitled to act as the true purchaser.

I get them every game. Every time i play a game i get about 2 min of lag. I just played a 10 min game and wasted 8 min because of the lag. (The game was 8 moves by then. But I still won :).)

are you using dial up or or 56k modem?

I_Am_Canadian: might it have been related to your opponents' lag in the last 5 games? In the first ten games you played many Americans and then you switched to people from other countries. Or was your browser interface lagging perhaps?

Soon, we are adding more lag monitoring per game and player to be able to tell more about lag details.

+5 for the original idea of incorporating somebody's mother into a comeback.
