Hi, I am just wondering but is there likely to be a "lite" version of the live chess.

It takes absolutely ages to login which is odd because apparently I am already logged in. Also quite often there are no games available and it just blanks and shows nothing.

I mean the java and ajax is nice but is there any change of a slightly cut down version? For people whos internet is not as good.

i am guessing you would ahve say a blitz tournament where each match is 5m mins but it would be decided when the tournament was created.

Yes, similar to how tournaments are done on other live chess servers.
