I do not see the checkmate... Every move is check...
1.Bf4 is met with a Bd6
2.Rc8 and Bd8 is met with Kd6
3.Re7 is met by Bxe7 or Kd6 again!!!
The position is showing that you must not allow the king to have the option to the d6 square.
The only thing I can think of is that the rookwas supposed to be promoted into a knight instead of a rook.
Yeah, why didn't I think of that?
Oh yeah, no queens.
Not a bad troll, maybe a 'mate in 2' with a lot of different options to look at would be more infuriating. There are only 4 checks here.
