I was just playing a very interesting 5/0 game on the new server when the server went down and I (apparently, according to the message that popped up) resigned the game. Now it's not working.

Will this be a long term thing, or temporary?

Clearly, it isn't going to be a long-term thing. (That would make the whole server update rather pointless.) My predictions in an IRC channel appear to be coming true. Now, though, we must hope that not ALL of my predictions will come true, because if they do, chess.com will be going down again while they fix any problems!

hey, I get a message "live chess server temporarely unavailable"...

Though, it shows that 900 players are online.

Will that be fixed soon?

Yes, even I am getting the same message, though there are supposedly around 900 people online. Is the server down for just a few people or is it for everyone?
