If by now you still get fustrated when you're disconnected try this.

On the chess.com home page, look to the top, right hand corner of the web page.You'll see right above the daily puzzle "live chess" click on it and read the top of the webpage. After this, you may be a bit more understanding. "REMEMBER: LIVE CHESS IS IN EARLY BETA!"

I personally don't imagine live chess was ever that big a problem.  If only 5% had serious problems that would be presumably 25,000 people.  If only 10% of those reported their problems in the forum that's 2500 posts.  Makes it seem like a bigger problem than it is.

A couple of disconnects a week on average isn't a problem if you figure its happening randomly and to others as well.

there are times when I'm disconnecting all night long and eventually give up...
