How can I report cobu70 for using offensive language towards me and accusing me of "time cheating" (whatever that is) to the staff memebers of this website?

At the bottom of the page there is a link called "Report Abuse". There's a form you can fill out that will be reviewed by the chess.com staff.

P.S. It is considered improper to name cheaters or abusers in the forums. The reasoning is that it's unfair to accuse someone before the staff has had a chance to review the complaints

"Time cheating" :)...

As a mod I can say we get that a lot from inexperienced computer users who don't understand the basics :).  Rather than accounting for 'lag' (basically the time it takes for your move to make it to your opponents PC and vice versa) they assume you've 'hacked' the site and are altering the clocks to your favour :P.

Terrible sportsmanship, bad loser, and computer illiterate :P. ... A really bad combination!

I wish chess.com had an article on 'lag' so we could send it to these people :P (you know who you are! Wink).

Fill out the form anyway. I don't know what options the staff have available but at least you will do what you can.

Yes, give them what you can and let them take it from there.

If nothing else the staff will be alerted that someone does not play well with others in case it happens again.

Is this the game you are talking about?

When you complete games they get stored in the archives so you can go back to them later if you wanted.  :)

You can simply fill it in with a link to either the game or a link to the players profile.  If you want to be generic... I'm sure www.chess.com will do the trick (honestly, I don't know what the staff wants filled in there... I always just put the guys profile).
