So, in the new live chess, the chat frame extends far enough up that it halfway covers up my name, rating, and most important, my time left. So I can't subconsciously glance over to see how much time I have left. I have to wait for at least one second (sometimes) if my time left is something that can be something else by only looking at the top half (do I have 0:23 left or 0:28?).

It also just takes longer to read half a time.

I'm using google chrome. Is there any way this can be changed?

Best tactic imo:  Have you tried F11 (using the full browser window)?

Have you tried adjusting your board size to the next smaller size (use Live Chess' settings).
