Probably because you are playing with bonus time. If you are playing a 3|2 timed game, you both start with three minutes and get two extra seconds after making each move. I hope this is helpful!

How come the time never ends? I look at my opponent's time, there is 4 seconds left, next move I see he has 6 seconds left. Is it just me? How is that possible?
